Opaque Window is a series of images inspired by the paintings of Edward Hopper. Like Hopper, I am drawn to the idea of the solitary figure, and many of my photographs feature lone individuals in quiet, contemplative moments. By placing my subjects in sparse, often desolate environments, I aim to convey a sense of isolation and introspection that echoes the themes found in Hopper's work. I am particularly interested in the ways in which light can be used to create a sense of atmosphere and mood, and I often incorporate dramatic shadows and bold contrasts into my images to achieve this effect.
